Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (University of Sydney)
Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
I am a GP because I love all fields of medicine, and couldn’t settle for just one!
I was privileged to join Castle Hill Medical Centre in 2001, lured by its reputation for providing the highest quality of medical care. I have built a practice based on the belief that prevention is better than cure, planning for future well-being rather than solely reacting when health fails.
I enjoy caring for people of all ages and all walks of life. Over the years I have fostered varied interests in men’s health, child and adolescent health, preventive health, travel medicine, chronic disease management, sexual health and sleep disorders.
I am experienced in skin cancer screening and immunisation (childhood vaccination, travel vaccination including Yellow fever, and occupational immunisation, especially Q fever).
Together with many of my colleagues at Castle Hill Medical Centre, I provide comprehensive occupational health services including thorough pre-employment medicals, injury management, and drug and alcohol surveillance.
I am passionate about training the next generation of doctors. When patients consent, my room is often graced by a medical student from the Universities of Sydney, Western Sydney, or New England.
I have been recognised with specialist registration in the field of General Practice, and love being a GP.
When not at work, I love spending time with my wonderful wife and four school-aged daughters. I enjoy bush walking, native gardening, fine chocolate, and travel.
